The Compliance Analyst joins a seasoned team of attorneys and technologists as part of a cutting-edge data privacy and political speech program. The Analyst will support the team in monitoring mobile apps and websites to ensure that adtech companies, app publishers, websites, and political campaigns are complying with the Digital Advertising Alliance’s Self-Regulatory Principles. The Analyst will work closely with Digital Advertising Accountability Program staff to draft correspondence, compliance memoranda, and public-facing documents. The Analyst will make basic compliance recommendations for review by Digital Advertising Accountability Program staff and will be responsible for assembling various compliance reporting documents. The Analyst will also be responsible for keeping up with new issues in the evolving world of tech policy, free expression, data security, and digital privacy.
This position supports the Director of Finance in carrying out the responsibilities of the Finance Department with accounts payable and accounts receivable, and certain payroll processes.
The Controller is accountable for the accounting operations of the Organization, including production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles. The Controller will report to the CFO and assist with cash management and risk management.
BBB National Programs, Inc. and its well-respected Children's Advertising Review Unit (CARU) is seeking an is seeking an Analyst with a strong interest in data privacy and advertising. The Analyst will provide support to the Vice President and staff attorneys on the day-to-day operations of CARU. Secondarily, this person will have an opportunity to learn about CARU’s COPPA Safe Harbor program and support staff in the operation of the program. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a busy, fast-paced environment with a lot of exciting initiatives on the horizon with companies that are making some of the most creative and innovative products on the market, many of which are directed to children.
BBB National Programs, Inc. in its well respected Children's Advertising Review Unit (CARU) is seeking a Compliance Manager. This position is a hands-on role assisting staff attorneys in overseeing the day-to-day operations of CARU’s COPPA Safe Harbor program, particularly monitoring and auditing member websites and mobile apps for compliance with CARU’s program requirements. The Compliance Manager also reviews and responds as necessary to member and consumer inquiries, oversees our consumer complaints and maintains accurate internal department records for all compliance-related activities.
